Lemons, lemons, everywhere lemons. Please let me know if you want some. Jamie trimmed the tree back a bit and we collected 4 shopping bags full. We barely made a dent in the tree! In other produce news, his tomatoes are starting to blossom! How are your doing?

Ok, so in baby making news, we are officially on Cycle 14 (that means it has been 13 very long months....) Last month was a true "relaxation" month with no drugs or stress and that didn't work (just in case you were wondering if relaxing would work :) So I am back to the medical community and drugs! YAY! I am very happy about this, so hopefully we will have some good news for you at the end of May! If you don't hear anything then you know there is no good news. Hope you all have a great weekend, I know I will! We are going to Jamie's boss' wedding tomorrow so that should be fun!

Jamie's dad sent me this picture the other day. It is from last summer out near Arches, Utah. What a wonderful memory we made!

YAY!!! It's a happy day!!! I got home yesterday and there was a DHL package propped against the door. You'll never guess what was inside so I'll just tell you! It was my wedding videos from Derrick and Alisha! Can you believe it!!! It's not the final one that Alisha is prettying up, but the raw footage. Jamie does happen to do a bit of editing.... :) so he is going to play around with it and try to make something of it that we want to share. It will be fun to get Alisha's version and compare them! Either way, I don't care! I was just happy to see it. I immediately watched it (well skimmed through it, I only had about 20 minutes and then I had to leave.) I watched our vows and it made my a little misty... I then fast forwarded to see if they got Renee singing and unfortunately they didn't. That makes me sad but Tom will be happy to know that there is a ton of footage of him singing! YAY! So I am happy today :)

Oh yes, I am a Star Wars nerd... at least I wasn't alone! This is in front of NBC studios in Burbank!

We went hiking this weekend up Big Tujunga Canyon. Click here for pics Hiking Pics
Laine, Jules, Jamie, Kristen and I went and it was so much fun! The weather wasn't too hot, we even got a bit chilly at times. There is a great waterfall at the end but it was a little short of water.... Oh well, we weren't planning on going in!

I will not post much about the shootings, I don't have a connection to them so it just wouldn't be fair to people who do. Of course it saddens me but it saddens all of us.

What I will post about is a story in the Times right next to the shootings. It appears banning late-term abortions has been upheld by the supreme court. I quote from CNN.com "The sharply divided 5-4 ruling could prove historic. It sends a possible signal of the court's willingness, under Chief Justice John Roberts, to someday revisit the basic right to abortion guaranteed in the 1973 Roe v. Wade case." CNN Story

This is a very happy day for me. I know that it is unhappy for about half of you and I respect that. I am not posting this to offend anyone, I am posting this because it is my blog and it touches me especially as I deal with infertility. It is so unfortunate that we are a country divided on such an important issue. I hope our division ends in respect for each others opinions.

Great weekend! On Saturday we had Stacie and Avi, Debbie and Luis, and Renee come over for some BBQ hamburgers and 80's Trivial Pursuit. We had a lot of fun and even stayed up until after 10pm! Woo-hoo!

Here is Avi taking charge of the BBQing! :)

Debbie and Luis.....

Stacie and Avi....

Renee and me....

Jamie and me of course....

On Sunday we went back to the standard and had the family over for some high stakes (well ok, low stakes) POKER! Grandpa cleaned house with $13!!!! WOW!!!

Great weekend!

Thinking of the future and decisions we may need to make has led us to getting more information on adoption. We are going to an informational session at an adoption agency tonight. It seems most adoption agencies do these to answer questions, explain the process and discuss the fees. We're looking forward to this just so that we can be more informed. We are still going forward with our medical options and will be through the summer but we want to be ready just in case. I am not sure what your views on adoption are (or even infertility treatments) but I hope you will all continue to pray for us during this time as we try to start a family. Thank you for your kind words and support. I will continue to keep you updated but feel free to ask Jamie and me questions anytime!

Jamie built this raised planter for his tomatoes. They are so happy and have already doubled in size (according to Jamie!) He put an irrigation system in to so we don't need to do anything more except wait for our caprese salads!

In other news... I was busy too! I bought this squirrel feeder....

The squirrels kept running around eating the nuts I threw out for the birds so Jamie helped me attach it to one of the trees and they didn't waste anytime digging in!

We are actually a little worried that this guy will overstuff himself and fall over dead!!!! Every time we look out the window... there he is!

Carolyn, Katherine and I went to a Knife Skills class at Sur La Table last night! Carolyn didn't want her picture taken but here is Katherine and "Perfect" diced potato! Here I am "in action"! Although I don't think the class was worth the money or the drive all the way down to the Grove, we had a great time together and went to Maggianos for dinner. Yummy!

OH MY GOODNESS! I forgot to tell you the best part about our weekend!!!! We had the most amazing dinner ever! Sean and Lea made us a full curry meal with chicken tikka masala and lamb rogan josh (i think...) anyways, it was amazingly yummy!!!! Too bad I didn't take pictures... I suck.

YAY! The screen door is done and it looks fantastic! Thanks to Tom and Jamie!

I also stood up this dish on a stick that the old owner left behind and put the birds nuts in it. I saw this cute little thief found a way to get at it!
