I just tried acupuncture last week! Pretty cool stuff. As she was about to put a needle into my forearm she said I would feel an electric shock! WOW! I felt it! It felt like electricity shooting out my middle finger. Very weird! I recommend this to anyone that wants to try something new!

My my my, what a couple of weeks!!! To start all the fun, I was able to work in Florida for a day and go with Jamie to visit his parents! We didn't tell them ahead of time so it was a surprise! It went over huge! He dropped me off at the end of the driveway and while his parents, brother and sis-in-law came out and were hugging and helloing, I snuck down the driveway. Jamie looked and said "Who's that?" They all turned and I swear they did not recognize me! Finally Jamie's mom screams DIANA and runs over and starts the hugging! It was great and probably one of the best surprises I have ever pulled off (with Jamie's help of course!) Well we had a great time and I even had a really good work session out there so Nestle got it's moneys worth.

We then had Christmas Eve at our house...

A few days later an old Jr High friend named Simon (who happens to be my very first boyfriend) was in town from New York. I hadn't seen him in about 10 years and some people hadn't seen him since Jr.High! So we had a little party at our house. The most interesting part was when Jamie was in the backyard getting a lemon and the basket from the picker broke and fell on his lip! It required 5 stitches! for NYE we hosted a New York New Year! The plan was to celebrate New Years at New York time so we could be in bed by 9:30 but we ended up having such a good time we celebrated Central, Mountain and Pacific time!!! That's right, Jamie and I were up until 12:30!!! Playing lots of poker helped and we had such a great group of people over! Click New Years Eve 2006 for the pics...

And if that wasn't enough.... we went to Vegas the next week and stayed at the Wynn. It was amazing! Floor to ceiling windows on 2 walls that overlooked the strip... WOW.

Last but not least, we ended the holiday and started the new year with a wedding. My friend Dave from work (you may have heard of him as one of Jamie's mountain biking buddies) got married to his perfect match, Kim. It was a lovely wedding and we were so happy to be there!

So now it's back to work as normal.
